This is too phat, man! We believe a lot of people’s prayers out there are heard as Samsung has officially launched Samsung GALAXY Grand, the second phablet series with the same big 5.5″ screen as the GALAXY Note 2 but at a cheaper price.
Though it’s cheap, it seems that not many features are compromised here. Samsung GALAXY Grand runs Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean on a 1.2GHz dual-core processor. It is built with 8-megapixel camera on the back, and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. The only think that may turn you off is its mid-range quality display in which it was reported that Samsung may use WVGA screen display.
Just like the GALAXY Note II and GALAXY SIII, the GALAXY Grand offers intuitive features such as Direct Call, Smart Alert, Popup Video, S Voice and AllShare Play.
The GALAXY Grand will be launched in two versions – the Dual SIM version (GT-I9082) and the Single SIM version (GT-I9080) afterwards.
We believe Samsung GALAXY Grand will definitely become a new sensation in town as we have heard that a lot of people are craving for the GALAXY Note II but couldn’t afford it.
